OT: selling multiples on ebay

I'm selling a total of 5 of the same card on ebay, 4 are graded. The one that is not graded is the cheapest with around 200 views, the ones that are graded are obviously more expensive and all have less than 40 views, with one even as low as 12 views. And these cards are really hot right now too, Why would this be?

I just revised some of the titles to attract more views so maybe that will work, but anyone with some selling experience if you have any suggestions I'm willing to listen.

Personally, I don't think number of views or number of watchers matters in the least. There is minimal, if any, correlation to an item actually selling from my experience. Perhaps the raw one got linked in a forum so a lot of people viewed it to see what was being talked about, but really have no interest in the card.

As long as you have the year, set, card number and player's name correct in the title you should be good. If graded then obviously, you'll want to make sure the grader and number grade are there as well. If you still have room, then include the number grade mapping (e.g. MINT w/PSA 9s) and any pop report data that might be relevant. I have noticed that putting a space between the grader and grade number works more consistently for eBay searches, for example 'PSA 10' over 'PSA10'. IIRC correctly from playing around, 'PSA 10' listed cards come up with a search term of 'PSA10' or 'PSA 10', but 'PSA10' listed cards only come up with 'PSA10' searches and not 'PSA 10'.

The eBay views counter occasionally goes berserk. At least, that's what I've remembered from past experience, where certain items for no apparent reason will have significantly more views than others. Now, I think that if someone hits your auction once in a 24 hour period, the counter won't recognize them again until the next day, but someone could also be hitting your auction repeatedly and it counts every time no matter when. I recall auctions with several hundreds of views on innocuous cards that might otherwise have been lucky to see a dozen.

low price = possible bargain, I should check it out

high price = no reason to view the auction, it's too much

That's what I think from my experience, anyway.

    Could be that.
