Unique set of 1929 FRBN radars

I have posted some of these notes before but don't think I have posted them all as a set. Only 8 radars are known for all denominations and all districts of 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Notes. This makes them the rarest class of small size radar notes (tied with Gold Certificates) in the 1928 - 1963 era.

    Great set Logan!
  • Just hard to believe that six of eight could have even survived and be found/saved let alone be acquired by the same collector's. That's like crazy lottery odds!

  • Greg: The other two known FRBN radars are $10 A00822800A in VF and $20 C00300300A in VG. I also want to comment further about the rarity of the 8 known FRBN radars. I have recorded 1163 radars and solids in the 1928 - 1963 era. Of this number 819 are $1 Silver Certificates (582 radars + 237 solids). So in essence any FRBN radar is 100 times as rare a $1 Silver Certificate radar.
Here is one of these other FRBN radars as part of a set of matching serial numbers.
