Ed— it's really all about the card. There are prices for average looking cards, and prices for exceptional looking cards within that same technical grade.
We can't generalize prices for all cards based on one or even a few sales of so-so to ugly examples.
In other words, an 8 that looks like a dead centered 9 can surface right this very second for a huge, record-shattering BIN-- and sell in a heartbeat. Yet that wouldn't mean there is now a rise for all 8s.
The crazy roller coaster ride that the Clemente 8's have had the last couple months are a good example of buyers focusing on the card more than the grade.

30 minutes is long enough.
But, I'm sure I'm not alone in experiencing way higher prices in respective grades 7 or higher for specimens that are "well centered."
