    heh indeed it does image
    and it's quite funny too
  • I'm not done reading, but I disagree that there is no pressure on the Lakers. They are the defending champions. They were supposed to beat the kings and they have to go into Arco and do it. There probly is more pressure on the Kings but I think there is definitly pressure on the Lakers as well.
  • <<The Kings played Friday night as if they had a Game 7 in their back pocket. Game 6 was a throwaway game. >>
I also strongly disagree with this. They played decent, but having their 2 centers foul out and having the refs on their side, they still only lost by 4. That was not a throw away game for them.
  • sorry, meat having the refs on the lakers side

oh mattdog you know that's bull.. but I can't blame ya.. every time a team loses they either blame the fact that their shots didn't fall or that the refs sucked.. Lakers won.. we'll see what tonigh brings, but I heavily root for my Lakers!
  • ya i know ur right, hopefully this game will be an evenly called game and the refs will let both teams play, this is gonna be one good game.

it sure will.. when I wake up tomorrow I will know who won.. and if the Lakers won I'll be able to watch the game tomorrow afternoon via sattelite on German-TV
I have to skip school for it but what the hey, ya gotta do somethin' when you can't watch the game live.. image

  • 24 Free throws in one quarter is having the refs in your back pocket. That was absolutely ridiculous. The Kings will get calls tonight. And I think some of you Laker fans may be crying tonight after the game.

I personally think the Lakers will win but I don't want them to. Nor would I be surprised to see the Kings blow out the Lakers. The Kings are hungry for respect. Shaq won't be able to bowl over defenders like he did in LA. He will get into foul trouble tonight and the Kings will capitolize on it. It should all come down to LA's role players. If they don't show up I don't think the Lakers will win.

Seems like the writer is a Lakers fan....and I don't think the ref's will swallow their whistles. Home court has been a huge advantage the last couple games and will be in this one. If Shaq get's in early foul trouble and is off this game, look for the Kings to win. If Shaq get's on a roll and starts hitting free throws like he did in game 6....Lakers will win. This is all up to Shaq...I think Divac and Pollard will not get as many calls against them as they did in LA so the big man is going to work hard.

  • I don't think it matters too much if Pollard fouls out late in the 3rd or in the 4th quarter. He can't stop Shaq. Divac needs to stay out of foul trouble and so does Webber. We need to go at Shaq and try to get him into foul trouble early. I don't think he can make his first 10 free throws. If he does we will be in trouble. I think Bibby will have a much better game and Webber is going to try to get going early. I expect a big first quarter from the Kings. I also think the Lakers will get back into it, but the Kings will still win.

Well, that's what Shaq is going to try and do like he did in Game 6, and that's get Divac in early foul trouble and get Pollard in foul trouble as well. If you think the Lakers won't come out in this game and play with the hearts of champions, then your crazy. You think they won't bring their top game to the deciding game? It's either win, or go home and watch the Finals on television. I'm sure the Kings have the same mentality, but I still believe the Lakers will show the Kings fans at Arco who the real champs are.
  • I do think the Lakers will bring their top game, I just think the kings' top game is better imageimage

Well, the Kings had their chance to finish out the series and they failed. Now they will crumble...if they haven't done so already. image

    GO LAKERS!!!
