Heck the 2 Superfractors should pay for it. J/K! I'm not sure what to think of all the Topps online products. I don't see a lot of it selling for a premium after it sells out online. Usually in the short term those selling are taking a small loss. Long term it could be a different ball game. This could be a break up net positive but you'd have to get $300 for Trout, Harper, and Bryant just to get close with all the rest. At the end of the day at least with my collecting dollars I buy what I enjoy so if the value drops I'm still in a happy place.

The Superfractors are garbage. There are only 500 of the 700 superfractors. They did not produce superfractors of any of the player cards that had superfractors in the standard 2016 Topps Chrome 200 card set... which rules out all the star players and good rookies. Basically, you're getting 2 common superfractors. Best you could get, for star power, is a League Leaders card that has a star, or stars, on it.

At $1500 a set, the least you could think they would do is serial number the cards #/250... but by all indications, they did not

    Complete waste of money

I was looking at the Auto Football RC packs they were offering earlier this year. The checklist was small and I like the retro RC look, but at $75/pack it seemed overpriced. The price fell to $67.50, then $50, and now I see them on DA for $49.95.

A guy broke a ton of these packs at $75 and $67.50 on the Blowout forum and the break-up value was awful. Unless you get a short print, most of the commons sell for less than $20.

Are any of those boxes from the 70s Blue Sapphire? I don't think so. So, the choice is easy.

Topps is really pushing the price on this item. A lot of change for mostly common cards.

Think the OP should change the title of the thread from "selling" to "attempting to sell" image

Still scratching my head at it, but Topps has been able to sell out, in an hour or less, Topps Now Memorabilia cards with a piece of base in them for ridiculous prices... but now 8 hours after this set launched... they've only sold 36 of the 250... and that's assuming they didn't hold back the proverbial 5-10 sets for damage replacement(s).

    1500 clams?

    I hear ya Mike.

I saw this Frank Thomas 1/1 in their store for a grand! I liked it but no way for that. Plus, what "really" makes it 1/1? I think they consider it the "artist's proof?"

Fast forward to the Toppsvault auction and I see this card up.

I wound up paying $105 for it.

Still 197 sets available as of this posting...

Anyone got $300K laying around to corner the market with this dud of a set image
