What will THE (Registry) Card be for...

So I always seem to have to start a new thread to ask these questions but maybe there can be a running thread for this question.

Jose Altuve...In 2011, Mike Trout's card is the Bowman Chrome but Altuve only has a Bowman Chrome Draft. He also has a 2011 Topps Updates and Highlights. Anyone have an opinion on what his registry card will be?

2011 Topps Update is what I typically see for Altuve. I subbed a couple last year. And did well. Hit a couple of 10s. Sold one a few weeks ago when his stuff started to take off. Now they are hitting the $100 mark. Last year you could buy these raw on eBay for the cost of shipping

Off subject but what a bad picture for his RC...... Hugging another player! You would think topps would have done better

Well the All Time Astros and Future HOF RC card would be the same.

Is there a reason why the 2010 Bowman Chrome draft card couldn't be used?

It is a perfect rookie. 2011 is his RC. Same reason why 2008 issues are used for Kershaw even though he had cards in 2006 and 2007

Hard to argue with that logic. image
