So this actaully happened in Cleveland

I try to add autographs of former Toronto Blue Jays through the mail when I have time. Recently I noticed that Phil Roof, a catcher for them in 1977 is a great TTM signer. When I looked for some pictures of him I found this site which, well you have to read it (and see it) to believe it

I had to use some of these photos and got them back signed today

They used to have those contests quite often. I can't remember which stadiums, probably
the northern ones like Minnesota or Milwaukee, teams in states with a lot of dairys'.
Cleveland makes sense, lots of dairy farms in Ohio.

Those are nice, one of a kind autos!

Can you imagine that happening in a mlb stadium today.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

KC has a bring your dog to the ballpark day. I avoid those, as I go to the game
to watch baseball, not try to see how much dog crap I can step on.

Phil Roof is one of the nicest guys around. He used to manage my hometown Rochester Redwings. I can't remember the exact details around it, but he and his wife either had a son or family member they took care of like a son, who had special needs. Just really, really great people.

This post brought a smile to my face.
