I agree, we needs some pics! There is one on eBay that has sat for a long time - priced way too high. A ton of star power on the card - Kaline, Hunter, and Robinson in addition to who you have mentioned. 6 HOFers on one card.
Pretty. Those are very, very difficult to locate. I had an AL checklist in folded in half/ratty condition awhile back and still got close to $500 for it. The above example looks like it needs a PSA grade and holder.
The checklists are certainly better looking that the set itself. The "similarities" of the players to the plaq images rivals the 65 Embossed set. I have a set of both and bet if I showed images of each without the name few could name the player
Dan thank you for posting the pictures. The checklist is cut from a full sheet. It is a little thin in width, a couple small crease but still present a fairly well. Thanks again Dan !
Someone please clarify.... was there a checklist inserted into every Plaks pack ? I feel like I saw a video online a while back of someone opening a pack and there was a checklist in the pack.
I am under the impression that most of the checklist were cut from a full sheet long before card grading was around.
Also is safe to say PSA will only grade them authentic... no number grades?
Scott-- I do not know if there was a checklist is the packs. I do not plan on opening mine to see. There is something in the pack besides the spruce that gives it stability, but do not know if it is checklist of piece of card board. Bob has a pack too. I should have opened his while I was up at his place this summer to see. It would have been fun to see his reaction while I was ripping it

I've seen a couple with PSA number grades in the past. I'm also fairly certain the checklist I sold was from a pack originally because of the contents of the collection it came with. One of its side borders was slightly bowed & miscut in the typical Topps fashion. But I'd assume in production they were all printed on the same sheet because there were no cards other than 2 checklists to make for that test.
It is the NL checklist. Jim Wynn is showing through the yellow on the third bust. You can also see the text at the bottom of the checklist showing through the yellow at the bottom.
I do not handle that pack much but after KB's post I looked at it under a good light with a magnifier and the "printed in USA" and Rose/Wynn are visible on the front side of the pack. My thanks to KB for pointing that out.
By the way, like the 52 set, there are two versions of the Mantle plak ( although his mother would not have recognized his plak image). One version has a noticeably bigger nose
I would think that there would have to be a checklist included. How else would kids keep track of which Plaks they got? Well I guess they could go on-line and check--oh wait--no they couldn't.
It's interesting that most of them are slabbed as "authentic" because they are so miscut. Why is that?

In the picture of the pack above there is clearly a Plaks Checklist inside the pack.
I can't tell.

Right side of the pack front photo, can't tell which one it is, but has the white player boxes shown.
