October Chantilly show OR November Chicago Sun Times show?

For those that have attended both shows:

If distance travelled and schedules allowed for attending one of these shows, which would be the choice? Especially in terms of number of dealers and quality of merchandise?

Chantilly usually has a good line up of autographers in addition to the large selection of cards. I guess it depends on your preference of vintage vs modern and specific tastes. Overall, I dont think you would be disappointed with Chantilly.

Sun Times has always been pretty big with a decent variety of vintages and sports available every time I have gone or setup there (Fall or Spring).

Only thing really lacking from Sun Times is that it tends to be a bit sparse on vintage unopened because BBCE is not there (they only do National).

True, but you'll be very close their store, especially if you're driving in from the east image

I've always enjoyed the Sun Times shows when I've gone in the past.

You most likely won't see anything pre-1980 unopened at Chantilly

If I were to narrow down my focus on 1 area, it would be vintage baseball singles.

I have attended each of these shows once. Is it fair to say that Chantilly is a slightly larger show with more dealers in attendance? At least that was the feeling that I got.
