Most coins under the United Kingdom umbrella have Latin legends like this. Combination of words will vary by era and monarch, and sometimes by nation, but the look and 'style' will match.
They all utilize the same set of monarch portraits, so becoming familiar makes it easier to identify other UK types. While there have been many nations in the UK (like India, for a time) it will still help you narrow the field.
Most UK nations also use(d) the same denominations. The penny appears in most UK nations, from Australia to Ireland, for example. The farthing and half farthing were used in British colonies, not just on the famous isle herself.
The best clue that this coin is from Great Britain herself, honestly, is that there's no other nation name clearly written anywhere on the reverse or obverse. Non-British coins that have these Latin legends and identical monarch portrait will make a clear identification of the host nation to avoid confusion. Usually.
