The 10 last night in Probstein closed under 29k..... Did they hit the peak and are coming down?
The reports from the National talk about how many there are available. It is an interesting thing to watch

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I collect: 80’s Rookies and 86 Fleer Basketball
If i were a dealer vs all the others, Id gladly accept 27-29,000 cash for one that was at 16k a few months ago.....thats a lot of cash to give up trying to get a few thousand more vs all of the competition and POPs.
Who wouldn't take 90-100,000 for a RC rook 8 now?
MJ 10s have a way to go still..IMHO
MJ 9s may still have a % still to go..IMHO
(and I just bought one)
Which also rolls into whats the value of an '86 Fleer box now? Not where some are asking if 10s aren't in the mid to high 30s.
I think by the pics from the National (which were great, I really enjoyed viewing them), the price might be coming down for a couple of reasons:
1) All the big shots are at the National and not concentrating on the EBAY offerings
2) It appears that one or two dealers are just buying them all up (market manipulation, as I discussed with the 1982 Topps Ripken) and they are all currently at the National also.
While Jordan is a great card, there are simply way too many of them (graded and ungraded) in the market. Much like the upper deck Griffey jr, which was a difference maker card, the supply far exceeds demand.

I just don't see this being true as far as supply and demand goes. Jordan is in mass demand which is why the supply is being sold. The price increased too fast and that explains the dip as of late, but I do think it will creep back up slowly towards where sales once were, not go south further past where it was prior to spike ever again.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
