Can Someone Tell Me What I Have

I try not to ask too many times about my notes but I have not been able to get any info on this note.I had it on the bay but had to end it as I was hearing from too many folks with offers and needed to get caught up.Anyone out there know what is so special about this one....because I don't(said with humility). Thanks!

It's a scrip note remainder fractional look alike. Here's a similar SC note.

    50c

Looks like there are catalog numbers by Sheheen referenced in the description.

I was the buyer of the Heritage note. Four denominations are listed by Sheehan, each R6 with 5-15 known.

Your issuer is much rarer with only a 5 and 25 cents listed. These are listed as R8-unique-one known! Your 10 cents was previously unreported, making it the discovery note. It's a GREAT fractional lookalike and they don't come any rarer.

Do you know Austin Sheehan? Would you like contact info? I'm sure that he would like to hear about this one.

LOL! I originally listed it on the bay and mentioned that the penny was not included....at this point,I may just throw it in!

    Austin's specialty is really SC.

Hugh Shull might be a good person to ask about GA scrip. I think that you can find an ad for him with contact info in BNR or Paper Money.

Unfortunately, there is no reference that covers the private GA scrip and none planned but the State notes are covered in the Shull book.

Well I don't know anything about this type of note or have the reference guide, just that it's worth a bunch. So I'll ask, how much? image
