8 rolls of Red Uncirculated 1955 Wheat Cents
Hi All:
Bought a small collection two weeks ago. A few interesting coins, one neat large size note and a group of BU wheat cent rolls. I offered all the cent rolls but these 1955 BU cent rolls last week.
I pulled the 1955 rolls aside because -- well,I'm not an idiot.
These rolls came from Massachusetts, and it is well known that many of the 1955 doubled die cents came from Western Mass. These rolls also came from a non-numismatic source so I thought.... maybe .... just maybe.
Well, I did look through all of them. Not even one DDO (too bad, because it would be a 64 Red to 66 Red as just about every one of these coins is, and be worth $10k to $100k plus each as such).
They were rolled shotgun style, and are labeled in pencil as to the date. I carefully unwrapped them (using surgical gloves) looked through them, then re-wrapped them and put the re-wrapped shotgun rolls into tubes.
Greysheet bid is $29 per roll. That comes to $232 for these 8 rolls. I am selling them for $200, and I will throw in shipping for free.
Sorry -- but there are no returns. You are just gonna have to trust me that these coins are as I describe them. Full rolls, full red, and only searched for the Doubled Die Obverse. If the fact that there are no returns makes you uncomfortable, this group is not for you.
PayPal is welcome.
I don't check these boards as often as I should, so if you really want them I suggest you email me as well: DaveWnuck@gmail.com
