For those of you that sometimes play the "crackout" game and re-submit cards to PSA. Here's a question for you:
Has anyone ever experienced a bump of more than 1 full numerical grade? Just wondering how frequent it may or may not occur.

Also a Terry Bradshaw RC go from 6 to an 8 on a crackout
How ironic that your avatar is the exact card from which this post was centered around. I sent a beautiful 69 Bench that came back PSA 7.5. My sub should pop real soon, and I'm hoping it will come back PSA 8!

I've had multiple items go up 2 full grades, and also a 5 that became an 8, and a 2 that became an 8. I am absolutely willing to bet that those 2 examples were instances of mech error within the grade portion of the label rather than representative of the intended assigned grade in the first place.
Ive seen a certain ebay consignor who had a 1973 Football card turn from an 8 to a 10.

Many people have told me this looks like a 9+ straight, with magnificent centering, but I am done trying with it...for now

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
From a Psa 6 to a Psa 10 is pretty unreal!
Unreal and scary that they could be so off. The best part for me was that it was a very tough card too.

This has a legal aspect to it based on the above claims.
How so? With all grading companies remember this is nothing but the "opinion" of the company looking at the item and applying a grade to it.
Why it is always so important to know what you are doing and by the card, comic, etc. and not the case/grade .
