I think it's an even trade.

Whoever is getting the Seaver is getting the better deal as if I'm not mistaken I believe that's the ultra-rare three finger shadow variation.

The one finger variation pointed straight up is by far the rarest.

Also gives the new owner a message.

While I'd prefer the vintage baseball over the 80s basketball, I think in this particular case, value wise, the Jordans are worth more.

Would like to see a better pic of the Seaver. Looks like the top right corner and the bottom right edge are a bit distorted in that pic. I'd also like to see a pic of the reverse before making a decision.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

If you like basketball better than baseball, it's obviously a good trade regardless of value. Otherwise, in a GOAT vs. great, GOAT usually wins over the long haul.
  • Pretty certain he has to know the answer to this and is looking for hi-fives on the trade. I'll cave... **hi-five**, bro!

I'm really not sure. EBay sales are all over the place on the Seaver and the Jordan seems to be cooling off. There are a lot of experts on the board and just soliciting opinions. I never even said which card or cards are mine.
  • I'm just messing. I love hi-fives. So whichever end you are on, I'll still hi-five ya!

  • I think the real question now is what I need to trade along with my MJ BGS 7.5 for your 8.5...

It's all Personal preference. Value wise it's pretty much the same. Personally, I think whoever got the Seaver got the better deal just for the fact that it's PSA vs. BGS. Anything in a BGS holder pre 1990 may not have made it into a PSA holder, at least not the same grade
