Anyone know what the August Specials are going to be??

In an attempt to get more people to come to National, they have opted to ditch August specials unless you come to National to sub your cards.

They have also said if you come to National, you get a free 55 Clemente PSA 8 to take home.

Looked like to me the August specials look just like the July specials.
$8 30 day turn no minimum
$20 5 day turn no minimum

I think it's more the National effect than a trend going forward. High sub prices would kill interest in many registry sets. Hopefully, specials will return to a more 'special' price in Sept, but more likely Oct.

I am hoping for a more normal 'special' in September. It really doesn't benefit PSA to have a $6.00 special in August with so many of their staff at the National.

That makes sense for sure. I've got cards I want to submit but at $8 they aren't worth it.
However at $8 for any year it helps out as I'm working on starting a 54 bowman set and continuing on my 53 Bowman color set

Can I drop off at the National with those specials or do I have to pay for on-site grading? (yes, looking to save money on shipping...)

You can drop off at the National. They usually have a BULK drop off special, but not this year. argh!!!
