Cool!! What is the serial number including the block letter prefix and suffix? Also, double check, is it a series of 2009 or 2009A?

    2009,
    JL00555013*
FW F 63 upper left front
    F1 upper right front
    57 on lower right rev

    Does that make sense?

Your note is a San Francisco district. They printed 38,400,000 stars over 12 print runs. The highest printing of any of the 12 districts. It was printed July 2010 and was part of the first print run of 2.3M star notes.

I say it's a spender, however, an eBay listing starting at $130 could prove me wrong image

The key to the series is Richmond with only 320K stars printed. I want one of those!

Keep in mind that the 2009 plains are being released with the SNI process, and most of the notes likely will be destroyed.

Lucky, is SNI "Single Note Insertion"?

    SNI is Single Note Inspection.

Because of the paper creasing problem in 2010, each note is being inspected one by one.

It is unclear what / how many stars will make it into the wild (regardless of the number printed). JA*, JB* (fw), and JE* will be real treasures if located.

Interesting. I had no idea what SNI meant until your explanation. Did a search on Google and found an informative article from Wired magazine that had a lot of details.

Re the bold star notes above, do the JB* notes (for the NY district, right?) have the micro FW on them or were all of them printed in Fort Worth without attribution? I saw a 2009 JB* note but it didn't have the FW designation on it.

Thanks for adding to my currency education.
