    Link 1

Background does not match other items for sale.

    Link 2

Nothing else for sale. Background does not match previously sold items, but does have positive feedback on a BGS8 Jordan within the past month.

Enough red flags that I wouldn't be comfortable bidding with either.
  • Also: listed the previous Jordan as BGS 8 when the pic showed BGS 8.5.

Looks like the 1st seller snagged a photo from 2nd sellers auction.

The first seller (patricnell_0) has only been active on ebay for 1 week. The second seller (mia52267) has been active since 2008.

Patricnell has only 2 sales, both from people with 2 or fewer feedback scores. The other feedback they have received are from sellers that they have purchased from.

Might want to touch base with ebay on this one.

I shot a message to the 2nd seller. First one has to be bogus

It's probably a shady tactic to make bidders stay from the original auction. I would stay away from both personally.

I guess I'm not that devious since I wouldn't have come up with that, but it does make sense. I've heard of others intentionally racking up bid retractions and chip bidding to create the appearance of shilling to scare off their competition, so why not? I don't know if I'm more sad knowing there are people out there who come up with these scams or that eBay does nothing to discourage it.

Link 2 seller already "sold" the same card 10 days ago for 34K. Now relisted. Yeah. Stinky to nth power.

Also, looks like a lot of chipping on edge of card to be a 10.

I live an hour from link 1 and he says he still has the card and he insists we have to do the transaction through PayPal and he won't let me come see it in person. Go figure
