Are sales typically lower (realized price) this time of year with the National around the corner?

I never really studied past years, but are sales prices typically lower as some people are saving up for the National? If so, is August any better or should I wait until September to sell some High grade HOFers? Thanks, Tom

  • Right now people have money to burn because they have been saving for this time of the year so maybe now may be just as good of a time.

I don't think it matters since the number of people attending the National is still a small % of the buyers out there. Plus the prices at the National tend be higher than online.

not much of a difference esp considering what you may miss out on waiting for that best time

There's really no difference. There are so many segments of the hobby and only a tiny fraction attend the National. Wish they can spread the National to different locations, but that
    is another story.
