PSA/DNA Blue Flip to Red Upgrade

Does anyone know the cheapest and easiest way to upgrade my stacks of DNA blue flip signed cards to the Red flips? Can I just sub them under the normal PSA service levels? I used to be fine with just auto authentication, but I'm just not a fan of the "trading card" designation. I'm now purchasing and subbing Red only and the OCD in me wants them all to be the same.

They charged me $10 per card to cross over from a blue to red flip.

What Bob said. You can submit them in the monthly specials.

That may no longer be the case, they wouldn't let us in March.

Was that submission a regular monthly special or was it a private deal that you worked out with PSA?

Thanks guys. Follow up question: If I sub a stack of JSA/BGS and JSA/SGC signed cards to for the Dual Card and Auto service can I sub slabbed just like a regular crossover?

I'd be interested in piggybacking if there's any blue<->red specials or if there's a SGC or BGS to PSA red auto flip special.
    </->
  • Same here... I've got about 5 or so SGC slabbed autos that I'd like to get into PSA holders

Last price I was quoted for blue flip to red flip crossovers was $18. You can no longer submit these types of crossovers with monthly specials or collector's club vouchers. Per PSA, there are extra steps and verification now because of the dual service autograph stuff...cough, cough, bs. They finally corrected the online submission system to not allow the autograph crossovers.

I would definitely be in if somebody could put together a group autograph crossover sub.

edit: got a few crossovers back today, and I was charged $25/card. These were cards valued at less than a $10 and no auto grade requested. So $25 for 20 day turnaround to grade a card valued at less than $100. Geez, what a deal, and a great way to treat your existing psa clients.

Sounds like you need to call PSA and find out.

I have submitted some recently and was charged $18 for blue to red when the blue flip had no autograph grade and $10 if the blue flip had an autograph grade. They also are now taking around 20 days. In the past they would take 10 days.

    a) did you not know how much you were going to be charged before submitting?

    b) at that rate, you should just crack them out and send in a red flip group sub

So it's $18 just for them to say the card is authentic?

I assumed it would be the $18 like before, but I guess the online system does say it will be the $25 service level now.

...and yes, the blue flip is basically worthless now as far as pricing goes. I'll save everything for the next red flip group sub.

Ugh, I might seriously consider BGS then.
