The Secret Life of Pets-Chris Renaud

Went To the movies today with the family and saw The Secret Life of Pets. At the end of the movie was the first credit with the name of Chris Renaud. I elbowed my wife and said "where do I know that name from?" She says"How would I know?" The little bit of memory I have I remembered that it was a name I used to sell very hi end 70s Psa cards to.
Is this the same Chris Renaud that made it big time in the animated movie business?
The old timers will remember why he sold his stuff and moved on but I was just curious if this is the same guy. Back in the day...this guy had some serious sets.
