Just SMH at the number 1 pick. Never picked this high before, don't know if I can handle the stress. Draft night may be anxiety filled between picks as i watch all my potential picks fade away.

I don't know what others think but can we not have the draft on the middle of a long holiday weekend in the future? At 730 pm for those out west when most are celebrating the end of summer it pretty much gut shots the weekend. Maybe I am alone in thinking this way but I much preferred the other draft times than this year. My two cents.

This weekend is the best option, imo. If it's done earlier, you run the risk of drafting players who wind up getting injured. I have 4 drafts this weekend. Most drafts are the weekend before the season starts. You can always pre-rank your players ahead of time, too. The draft should be over within 90 minutes anyway.

    Sincerely,

I would rather do a Monday night on the holiday weekend than a Saturday. Labor day is a huge travel weekend for most people. As for the players that got hurt we are all in the same situation and no different than players getting hurt week one.

Pre-ranking players in a 14 team league is a nightmare and very time consuming.

Good luck tonight, all! Sure am looking forward to it.

Guess I'll take AB and then take a 30 minute siesta!

Hope you're able to make it, Rob.

League B will be rocking with 45 seconds for each pick. My 2 10 team leagues that have already drafted were down in under an hour by doing 45 second picks.
  • brendanb438brendanb438 Posts: 1,595 ✭✭✭

Bump. Half way through the season and another blood bath of a year with injuries. League B is rocking it out with 2nd place thru 12th place within 1 game of each other (5-3 / 4-4). Looks like those injuries have almost all of us bleeding out equally this season.

In League B I finished 3rd after the regular season. The last 2 weeks of playoffs my players decided to go on vacation. Wound up in 5th overall. Good luck to the 2 guys in the final!

Hello Guys, sorry I've been out of touch lately but I wanted to wish both Tim and Jeff the best of luck going into the League A championship game...well done!!

I'll post the lineups for the League A championship game once tomorrow rolls around in case we have any last minute changes and ask someone from League B to do the same so we can follow along and see who becomes the overall 2016 CU Fantasy Football Champion. Good luck to all!!

Not gonna lie, Zeke had me scared tonight. Good game, Grote! Great season everyone!

  • grote15grote15 Posts: 29,738 ✭✭✭✭✭

Congrats, Jeff! I knew I was done as soon as Zeke went to the bench after 3 quarters, but my biggest regret was replacing Jack Doyle with Hunter Henry at TE this week. D'oh!

This was the final score in League B. Congrats to Team Merchants of Cool for winning League B with the final score of 126.22. I am right now fighting pneumonia which has kept me bedridden since Christmas Morning. If the top 3 teams can PM me here on the boards I would appreciate it with your PayPal email address.

Congratulations to Jeff and whoever is the Team Merchants of Cool in League B!! Fun season as always with a bunch of great guys. I've already sent out the winnings to Jeff and Tim in League A, just waiting to hear back from Matt and Scott to confirm their PayPal addresses.

Brendan, feel better buddy and thanks for doing a great job with League B.

And Happy New Year to everyone!!

Still waiting to hear back from some of the winners in League B to see if their gift payments came through correctly or not. Having issues with gift payments now going into a hold status and have a bad feeling after talking to PayPal they may be now investigating my account for misusing gift payments.

Maybe try to message them through the Yahoo fantasy football site. That might send them a different kind of notification through the app.

No, I just dropped the ball as the weekends keep flying by. I will make it a priority to start a new thread over the weekend for 2017. Thanks!
