change find

well today in my change I found a 2002 Canada 1 cent the coin looked to be IMHO in fine



condition but it has hairlines on both sides

    I live in Abilene tx and yes it's unusual to find Canada coins in change here

    That explains that. I get Canadian cents all the time here.

    Crazy wide rim on that. Just looks different to me, is all. Here in GA we see Canadian coins in circulation occasionally, but I haven't come across one of these jubilee year commems.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    i'm thinking since it's been lightly used the rims have not been worn down and they are more noticeable

  • apart from collecting silver coins and gold coins I like when I get by accident a foreign currency coin, I've got a few chinese, arabic and turkish, love them! Though they are not valuable much
