I have to be the worst at grading my cards to send in... Thought these all looked good.



81 Topps Montana - PSA 8 (thought 9)

82 Topps Traded Ripken Jr. - PSA 9 (thought 10)

59 Clemente - PSA 4 (thought 6)

61 Clemente - PSA 7 (thought 8)

    seems like the only one you really missed on was the Clemente. Being one grade off, especially as a relatively new submitter isn't bad.

    you wont get good grades unless you think you'll get good grades

    +1, when assessing my pre-grading I don't count it as a 'miss' unless I was off by 2 in either direction. Some find it better for sanity to assign a range of outcomes to temper expectations.

    I've gotten better in my pre-grading with each sub until one of my two most recent of 14 cards: 2 matched expectations, 2 were 1 grade higher, and 10 were 2-4.5 grades higher image I was quite happy to be significantly wrong on that one.

    And you have to pay for $700 Same Day Service to all but guarantee PSA 10 grades too every time for good mojo!

    The 59 Clemente looks undergraded from the pic, I could see it in a 4.5-5.5 holder. On the others, it looks pretty fair to me.

    Hard to tell from pics. You should get a good scanner.

    Loose right. Montana on lower left is what hurts you, and Ripken upper left is the issue IMO.

    bottom left on Montana hurt that one. I could see Clemente in a 5 definitely, nice card with very good centering.

    Yup, now I definitely see the bottom left on Montana and top left on Ripken.

    clemente could review bump to a 4.5 but is appropriately holdered based on corner wear. you could crack and resub to a 5 about 20% of the time.

    The darker shadow ghost boxes on the left lower side on each of the top 3 cards reminds me of The Omen situation where the photographs were showing that dark spear like protrusion on the black and white Kodak pics of the one Priest. He was soon speared by such a spear falling from the top of the temple after the lightening hit.



    The eerie superimposed elbow to hand ghost like arm tickling Clemente's chin on the 61 kind of proves things here. Basically, your cards are possessed, you got Damian as the grader.
