Apparently...Topps printed one of its series in 1959 with both gray and white backs starting w/card #199 and ending w/card #286. PSA has started labeling these cards as such. Looking at the pop report...I would say the scarcer is the gray back. Yes?

If you are interested in the 1959 set there is a great thread near the top of the PSA Registry Forum. It includes a discussion on latter pages about this grading change and the dual colored cards as well. Plus it has some amazing examples of the cards from this great set
Dual color series are not unusual in Topps sets. In the 52 and 54 sets the gray backs are quite scarce in the dual series and command huge premiums. The 56 and 60 sets also have white and gray card series.

I really hope they will start doing similar for 1973 OPC hockey.
Amen to that!
I gave up that hope a couple of years ago!

Gotta say, if they do it for 1981 OPC baseball, then they should also do it for 1973 OPC hockey. Makes no sense to be inconsistent in that way.
