2015 Crown Royale Football Box Live Rip

Off early on Friday. I have 7 boxes of 2015 Crown Royale Football that have been sitting on my office shelf and need to be ripped. 4 packs per box, 5 cards per pack with at least 2 autos and 2 jersey cards. Will I laugh or cry? So here we go.....

    Box #1 - Brett Hundley Jersey. Kurt Warner Jersey, Mike Davis Rookie Silhouettes, Ben Koyack (5/5!), Larry Fitzgerald Gold (#1/25), Trevor Siemian Purple RC (#17/25).

    I am a fan of Crown Royale design, however the lack of a base die cut card is somewhat of a letdown. I'm surprised they made that decision since I got a bunch of die cut inserts. I included the Siemian RC because some joker on ESPN Radio told John Clayton that he has a shot to be the starter this year.

    Verdict - image Neither happy or sad on this box. I paid less than half of the original price, if I paid full price I would be crying.

    Box 2 - Tony Lippert Auto, Kenny Hilliard Plate Auto (#1/1), Todd Gurley Jersey, Julio Jones Jersey

    Can't complain when you get a Gurley Jersey and a 1/1 Plate. However this highlights one of my biggest fears with Panini - player selection. Why would you include a free agent practice squad RB in a mid-level set (Hilliard?). I could see if it was a QB, but a 5th year senior RB is a joke.

    Box 3 - Antwan Goodley Auto, Stefon Diggs Rookie Silhouette Auto, Walter Payton Jersey, Sean Mannion Jersey, Mariota Blue Foil Insert

    The Payton Jersey surprised me. I didn't realize Panini still had Payton jerseys to cut up. Diggs had a huge second half of the season and is a great sleeper pick for fantasy.

    Box 4 - Matt Jones Rookie Silhouette Auto, Breshad Perriman Jersey, Joe Flacco Jersey, Sammie Coates Jersey, Mariota Insert RC, and a 250 point card.

    I guess Panini gave me a 250 point card instead of the second auto. I did get an extra jersey card, but I would rather have an auto. The point cards are another reason that I am concerned about Panini being the sole NFL card company in 2016.

    Verdict: image The Jones Auto is nice but the autos available at the 250 point level are awful.

    Box 5 - Tom Brady Jersey (5/5!), Jameis Winston Jersey, Matt Jones Jersey, Chris Conley Auto, Winston Insert RC.

    Brady Jersey cards sell very well. This is the best box so far.

    Nothing special here.

    An OK box, a weak ending!
