Sometimes it pays off looking thru 1988 Topps Baseball....

When you find this!

Found this case hanging out with a bunch of ghettp 1988 Topps Baseball Cases at a local dealers. Made an offer and it now resides on my office floor. The box exterior does have handling but each corner is in pretty good shape. It weighs a tons with around 500 cards more than a wax case. I haven't seen the jumbo box in case form so I couldn't resist. Maybe I'll have Steve wrap as a FASC one day, but right now I'm keeping it sealed.

Congrats on a nice pick up. I've been looking for an 88 FB case. That's a nice pickup.

Great find! And I don't see the 'Not For Resale' stamp that's a HUGE plus

Love it when they stumble across stuff. I've bought a couple of rack cases

of 88 Football like that from my LCS. Makes you wonder if they really looked

    searched around, what they'd find?

Thanks. When I first saw the jumbo case I thought I was delirious from the case dust that coated the 1988 Topps Baseball Cases. I'm pretty sure those baseball cases hadn't moved in over 10 years. This gem was hidden behind them. At first I thought it was a baseball rack case, until I saw the side panel.

Love Topps jumbo packs from the 80s! I still have a partial box of these from when I was a kid. Nice pick up.
  • The number is actually 36 8-88, most are spaced like that but this one is in error

Can you please share whatever you're smoking? I need it every time you post completely incorrect info.
  • Please don't be rude to others if you have your own opinion and want to share it fine

Show one Topps case spaced as you describe and I'll delete my comment. Until then, it stands when peddling falsehoods as fact.

Why do posts from this thread keep getting deleted? Is the mod working overtime?

  • Cool Hand Luke would not inquire on such novelty.

Would anyone know what the 368-88 designation breaks down to on this case ?
