I know that Heritage has Platinum nights and Signature Auctions. Clearly Platinum is the night for the most expensive coins. How many Platinum nights a year do they have? Also, does Signature have a meaning ? Thanks

Signature sales are live with a live audience and an auctioneer.
Didn't realize that. Thank you

The number varies. Regarding U.S. coins, there have been three annually during some recent years: FUN, CSNS and ANA. There are also Platinum Night events pertaining to paper money, world coins, sports memorabilia, and other fields. I attended the sports event in NY in February. Former Green Bay Packer Jerry Kramer was there.
I believe that HA's first Platinum Night event was in 2004, though I am far from sure of this. The first Platinum Night event that I attended was held at the January 2005 FUN Convention in Fort Lauderdale. Five of my articles about it were published in Numismatic News newspaper. I have since attended too many Platinum Nights to count.

Also, Stack's-Bowers started conducting Rarities Night events in 2011. I remember covering the first one.
