The toning behind the portrait and the eagle are almost surreal in their beauty and quality.
I've got to admit (and hate doing so publicly) I'm not a big fan of Ancients.
In many cases I find them crude and cartoonish.
This coin however... the strike, the art, the iridescent toning leave me awed and in love!!
