How NOT to lot on eBAY

These six notes were in a SINGLE lot in a sale held on Saturday....geesh....

The Wellington, Texas note Ch. 8102 was on an unreported bank, and the two Longmont, Colorado notes weren't chump change either...

Then again, the lot did sell for $13,000...so maybe they knew what they were doing? HA HA

No, I was NOT the buyer, simply a third or fourth tier underbidder....

I've dealt with them in the past. J.Levine is usually a pretty high end auction house. Lots of jewelry, furs, American Indian artifacts, etc... They don't do alot of coins and currency. Here is a link to the sale with the Nationals in it. They had about 12 lots of paper money in it. Link

I tripped over it due to the Lamar, Co note that was listed earlier in same sale - I typically don't spend anywhere enough time on eBAY, but was scrolling through on Thursday on lots ending soon..

Well, bidding started at $9500, which was an increment over my max, so I sat on my hands....
