Just bid on a beautiful Staubach rookie in PSA 8 and ....

I have wanted this card for a while now and finally found the perfectly centered copy. Just to be sure I got it I put in a "ridiculous" bid of 3 times the average price which includes sales from April and May and nearly twice the previous high of $1599.

I DID NOT win the auction image but am I really shocked anymore by any sales prices?

    Remember when you were a kid and you were hanging out with other kids and everyone had a Superball and each kid would try to outbounce the others until the Superballs would disappear into the sky or maybe through the window of a passing vehicle?

    Meanwhile, remember the Koufax PSA 7 frenzy a month ago. The last couple have closed about 2K under the couple of highs that got just over 6k.
