You really have the one and only lineup card from that game? Now that is a "1/1" to be proud of, not those 1/1 card gimmicks image

And wasn't it Cal's 1988 Donruss card that first mention "The Streak"? And I'm sure you know that the year before Cal Sr. ended Cal Jr's 8200+ (don't got the exact number off the top of my head) consecutive innings streak.

I'll have to check to see if that 1988 Donruss card is the first card that mentioned "the streak" (you very well may be right).

As far as the consecutive inning streak, Cal didn't miss an inning from July 1982 to September 1987....It was 8243 consecutive innings (which is a MLB record) & his dad/manager considered the inning streak "a burden" and ended it in the bottom of the 8th inning during a 18-3 drubbing in Toronto.....

The day after that streak was over, I wrote the Blue Jays and they generously mailed me an un-used ticket....Ron Washington was the position player that replaced Cal & I own the jersey that Washington wore that night as well.....

The ticket now resides in a PSA slab....The jersey resides in my closet (lol)

This is the kind of stuff I love seeing, stuff that's truly one of a kind and special with memories and all. Now if I only knew where that ticket stub I had is that was autographed by Wayne Turner at a Globetrotters game at Rupp Arena (he was on all three of our almost three-peat teams of 1996/1997/1998 and later became a Globetrotter). Wouldn't you like to have been a part of this kind of hardware? image
