Thoughts on this 1954 Wilson Franks Gil Hodges?

I know there are reprints and fakes around. Assuming this is the correct size (slightly larger than the current standard size), does this card look good? The borders on this set typically appear narrower.

    Not sure w/o the card in hand, but the borders look to large imo.

    The card looks right to me per the scan. The card could be hand cut though.
    Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases

    +1. I have Slaughter in PSA 8m/c and the borders are nowhere close to the width of this Hodges.

    Thanks, guys for the replies. Something just didn't seem right about this card so I held off on bidding. It went for $263 which will be a bargain if the card is legit and will get holdered. Those vertical borders just seemed a tad too wide.

    It's true the CU boards are a little light these days but it's still a great source of info.
