So assume that you had all the time in the world to commit to numismatics (i.e. No job, no family commitments, etc) what would you do with the time ?

Time is money. Can I assume I have all that, too ? image

This probably isn't exactly what you were looking for, but I'd meticulously plan out and then take a 100 day road trip of this beautiful country, with the goal of visiting every single LCS currently open for business (as well as the remaining 8 major league baseball parks that I haven't seen a game in yet).

Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.

I'd try to spend some time in the northeast and overseas in Europe and around the Mediterranean with my detector.

And I'd continue to enjoy the hobby, but I seriously doubt I could fill my every waking hour with it no matter how fanatical I might be. It would lose much of its joy if I did it ALL the time.

    Good question, though.

I have a counterquestion: if you could choose any (past) historical era other than our own in which to live, what would it be? But that is perhaps better asked in its own thread.

If I had all the time in the world, numismatics would continue to be an important, but small part of many activities that I'm already involved in.

If I didn't have my current job and family commitments, I'd definitely make it to all the "big" shows throughout the year. Even if I couldn't find material to buy at the shows (as someone above mentioned), I'd really enjoy the exhibits, the larger club meetings, presentations, and getting to form face to face contacts with collectors and dealers.
