Happy Father's Day to all the proud papa's!

I just thought I'd take the time to wish all the proud papa's around here a Happy Father's Day. Until a few years ago though, my wife (because of her "father" sexually abusing her as a child...and he was a "police officer" no less!!) would not allow me to even mention Father's Day or even include it on a magnet calendar we had back in the day. But as many of you guys already know, she really badly wanted a kitty back in 2010 (our dearly departed Tweetie; after she passed away in 2012 we shortly after got Jamiee; pictures of both are in the link below) but both cats latched on to me instead...and she said that this year she is very proud to have a reason to celebrate Father's Day because of me and my best friend Jamiee, who means more to me than all my cards, video games, and UK stuff and books put together image And I thank her most everyday for making me a "crazy cat lady" image



Now, me and my wife Denise may not be destined to have the human kind of children (long story and many various reasons and I just think going into detail about these sorts of things just isn't appropriate for a place like this) but we are still proud of our little family regardless. image



So here's to all the dads here...whether they are two legged kids or four legged ones...or both! image

    And in 1986 Rich Gedman, as a prank on Dave Stapleton, wore #11 for 1 game on July 16 (7/16 which has the same numbers as 6/17), and 7:16 was the exact time I picked up my dry cleaning that day on my way to Fenway, so clearly Rich Gedman predicted that Mr Chang was going to over-starch my favorite pair of Z Cavaricci pants.

    Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there. We have two lovely cats. The youngest was nudging me and purring, looking at me as if to say "Happy Fathers Day, Master." I'm sure he missed me as I was away several days for heart surgery. I didn't have much time to respond to him because I had to get back to the housework that seemed to be piling up. My wife would like to help but it is difficult for her with two broken arms and three broken ribs. Our older cat is not happy because he is old and has several health problems. I know what he is thinking when he sneers at me. "You're going to put me down but you get heart surgery and medication. We are the same age if you consider cat years. I'd claw you if I had them." Well, I guess I better get back to the laundry or my wife will smack me when her arms heal.

    estil what about three-legged furry friends? They should probably be included in your well wishes even though they aren't as skilled at dodging oncoming traffic.

    Here's my 2 "kids"...unfortunately, for you Mr. Estil, they aren't into cats or other small pesky critters. Don't have a problem with cats per say, except for smelly litter boxes, but unfortunately wouldn't be able to have one with these guys living here.
    Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.

    Goldfish are probably the most underrated pet there is. Goldfish are the 1991 Topps baseball of pets. My wife has some and all you have to do is tap the tank and they fly right to you wanting food or attention. Cats always ignored me...
