"Email Verification Required" email?

I just received an email with this subject line purporting to be from collectors.com. I didn't read it but it sounds bogus. Have others received it?

I got it as well. Just ignored. It basically says if you want to receive email from them to do nothing. If it gets annoying, I'll opt out.

Just thought it was an odd choice of subject line, sounds exactly like the typical phishing mail.
