USPS PROPOSES NEW RATES FOR AUGUST 2016

It's only a 6% increase but the lower prices didn't last long.
To ship a PCGS slab will cost 15c more using eBay labels.
The United States Postal Service proposed to raise rates on First-Class Mail Parcels (FCMP) weighing between 1-3 ounces. If approved, these new rates would go into effect on August 28, 2016.
The proposed new USPS rates are as follows:
1-3 oz. First Class Mail Parcel Retail:
Currently $2.45
Proposed $2.62
1-3 oz. First Class Package Service via eBay labels:
Currently $2.45
Proposed $2.60

With these proposed rates, it will cost the same to ship a first class package weighing 1 ounce as it will to ship an 8 ounce package. At least it will reduce complexity in the pricing for first class packages. Can't speak for parcels.

I think you meant to type 1-8 oz. in both of those instances.
