Brent: So, do you all think that this High End thing is going to draw more attention to our auctions, bring steeper prices, cause more quality stuff to surface and create an overall hysteria unlike any that's ever been seen in this business during our natural born lifetimes?

Brent: You guys are the best. Thanks for all your input.
Cool link top of this thread, never saw that watching site before.
The PSA 9 Mantle prices in the PWCC auction would probably be a LOT higher if the cards themselves were strong. Those are some real low-end 9s, in terms of eye appeal.
The 1960 has a nasty print splotch. The 1958, something very ugly in the orange background on that one. The 1955 Bowman is really badly off center. The 1966 has very bad tilt, etc.
The Ryan RC PSA 9 also is not a screamer 9. I actually like both centered 8s better, if I was buying them raw at a show.
I sold a number of 1987 Fleer Michael Jordan stickers in PSA 9 a year ago at this time for $150. They're going close to $1,500 a pop now. I can't understand it! It's not rare or anything like that.
I guess I'm just bitter about everything I sold a year ago for way too cheap - ARGH!
