Which card?

I've finally got a little money saved up $500-$600 and want to buy something nice. I know it's not a lot of money but I'm still thinking it can get me a decent card. What are some suggestions out there? Vintage or modern...ish? I keep looking at PSA 10's for 1990 Score Emmitt Smith, 1992 Upper Deck Shaquille O'Neil, 1989 Upper Deck Griffey, 1992 Stadium Club Favre, and 1982 Topps Ripken. Then there's the older vintage that I like but I'm not a fan of the cards with lower grades. What would you guys purchase and why?

'92 UD Shaq. Probably the most condition sensitive of the bunch and with the global interest in basketball and cards, will be less subject to US market volatility.

All would be great additions. I would suggest buy the player you like best regardless of monetary value if solely looking to flip I think both the Shaq and Ripken are under valued
    Looking for FB HOF Rookies

I would go with a PSA 10 Griffey and a PSA 9 1982 Topps Traded Ripken. You can't go wrong with iconic rookie cards of 2 HOFers.
  • I would go for an 85 Montana or Marino PSA 10. Marino in that year cost more but I see both of those jumping in price real soon.

If you are able to find a PSA 9 2004 Megacracks Lionel Messi #71 in that price range, that is undoubtedly a smart investment.

I'd go with something vintage. One of the big guys, Mantle or Aaron or the like.

Buy what you like, investment potential be damned.

The Topps traded Ripken is not his rookie card.
The regular edition 82 topps was his first topps issue.

Also Ripken was not traded, why is he in that set?
