Is this an 1830 medium letters cent?

Sorry to post like this, but bought this coin and it looks pretty close to the medium letters coinfacts example in terms of spacing.

Thanks for the education!

It's hard to tell from small images that are at an angle,
but I would say no.
There is one variety for "medium" and some call them "small",
the N-6. Yours does not look like it.
Perhaps someone else will chime in.

Still a nice wholesome example of a slightly better Middle Date large cent.
To clarify, the N-6 is quite elusive & sought after.
My reasons for thinking it not an N-6 are:
The 1 in the date is too far forward
The leaf under the F is too far right
The leaf at D is too low
The leaf at A2 is too far right
The leaf at E3 should be at the mid upright column
You may want to look at the examples in CoinFacts of
die marriages N-1 to N-5 & N-7 to N-11 of 1830 Large
Cents to see if any of those match your coin.

With no inner circle or die breaks that I can see, most of these varieties can be quickly eliminated....
This coin has been on my want list for years. Here is the G6 I hope to upgrade. If you look carefully you will see the difference.
Lance.
as in N-6.

I need one just like that for my Dansco.

EDIT: What do you believe the grade would be on something like this? I can grade the upper circ on these mid dates but am trying to get better on the mid grades.
Also, if you really plan getting into middle date large cents, I'd recommend you get a copy of one of the books on the series, like Noyes.
Enjoy!

N-6 is a tough variety to locate in higher grades. I was able to pick up this circ. example with decent surfaces on eBay about 10 years ago, and it would cost an arm and a leg to get a better one.
Holy cow -- great coin Rhedden!
