Question on autographed football

A long while back I helped with a deal my company did with the Staubach Agency and as a thank you from Roger Staubach I received a signed Cowboys football with personalized inscription (even got him to put Go Army on it). Since I'm not a football fan probably would be willing to sell if it had any value to a collector, especially since I got a Navy Officer to say go Army. 17 years later and the football listing the Cowboys championships is still up to date! Football itself says limited to 5000. So is this anything of value, or just a memento?

Staubach has always been a pretty willing signer, but since the Cowboys have a huge fan base he will always be in demand. I don't know if this helps but I recently sold a signed mini-helmet for $40 after offering it higher for a pretty long period of time.

I was surprised he signed go ARmy on it being a navy man. Shows he's a good guy!

When I was a kid, my cousin was a banker and one of his clients was Joe Namath.

He got us autographed footballs for Christmas one year.
I don't know what happened to mine since it was 40+ years ago.

Too bad - it would be worth some money on this thang called eBay today
