1855-D
1855-D G$1 PCGS XF Details Repaired
This very rare date, with a tiny mintage of 1811, has been expertly repaired at the obverse and reverse rim. It does have some hairlines but PCGS was very tough on the XF grade. Check out the pics and you will see lots of detail. I would have thought AU details.
Low start price. A chance to own one of the rarest gold dollars, only the 1861-D is rarer. Winter estimates less than 90 exist in all grades. A $15k to $50k coin in a no problem holder.
