I check ebay daily for this card, as it has been a favorite (obsession) since it was first discovered back in the 90's. There haven't been many listed on the bay this year, but I did see one this morning on comc, ( not mine) It is a psa 9. The seller is asking $29,000.00!!! I know hof rookies are through the roof, but wow. The last few 9's have gone for in the $6000 range, but that was months ago. What do you think a current value would be on this card?

It seems like almost all cards on COMC are overpriced. Does COMC set the prices?

No, the individual sellers do.

At $29K he's just fishing. About 25% of asking is my guess on current value. I just can't see this card appreciating like some of the recent Jordan posts or vintage RCs.

If I'm not mistaken, before you make an offer on COMC you have to deposit enough funds in your account to make the corresponding offer, right? So to make an offer at 25%, you'd need to deposit $8K to proceed. Is that money refundable if the offer is declined?

Correct, and you can withdraw within 30 days I believe with no cash out penalty.
