    They come from NGC; free with any submission. I toss them in the trash all the time. What purpose would they serve?

    You can also get them with the cardboard shipping box in the PCGS store but you have to buy the box

    You could also make them out of card stock.

    I think they're usually called "dividers" since they keep slabs separated from each other to avoid scuffing the plastic. You could probably make your own using thin cardboard from manila folders.
