Ever taken a card or item to bed?

So, yea, that title is click bait, but the point is essentially correct.

I will admit there was 1 item I was so excited to own, I put it on my nightstand the first night it was in my possession because I wanted to admire it as much as possible.

I won't however, share what it was. Since, its not rare or expensive, just something I was excited about.

Anyone braver than I willing to share?

There have been plenty of occasions when myself and my cards took up occupancy in a motel room located in another town. We watched a lot of movies together and dined on cold pizza and warm beer. Well, I did. They just sat there and drooled.

Never taken cards anywhere close to my bed. When I get my cards I put them in a box inside another box in a dark room away from anything or anyone...where they belong!

I do have a weird fetish I will admit to the Cu members though. I uh...I like to sniff cards ??

Anytime I buy raw vintage or when/if I buy a single modern pack, I can't help but to take a big sniff. It's actually gotten worse, I sometimes find myself sniffing pages of newspaper or magazines.

I can totally quit whenever I want

I've been known to bring a small box of poppage to bed and just shuffle through the stack before passing out.

My bed is actually a giant pile of cards that I sleep on top of and my bed sheets are plastic sheets which protect the cards in case I wet the bedimage

I have a set of benchwarmers cards with kisses on them.

I like to spread my favorite slabs out on the bed and roll around with them. But only when my wife is working late...

I think for most guys, if it's a card they are just going to enjoy and get rid of quickly, they try to get it into bed as soon as possible. Sometimes the card is upset when they flip it.

If it is the one card they know they are going to keep for the rest of their life, they are willing to wait till it's ready....

The worst is when you're thinking about cards while in the act. The other night I called my better half Stephen Curry and I almost ended up in the ER.

That's world class flattery right there. You should feel proud.

Agree. 'Cept it was involuntary. I was laying there wondering if anyone had pulled the Curry Superfractor 1/1 and it ejected like vomit.

I thought I was the only one who ever sniffed a card lol. Nice to know I'm not the only weirdo in the hobby! For some reason older cardboard has a smell that brings back memories for me. I need help I guess.

I take double-back tape to ALL my slabs and stick-em to the ceiling, above the bed. That way, during ***, I can enjoy 2 things at once.

Why would anyone do that? What if your wife rolls over and cracks the case?
