2 Major HOF Player sets completed this year

I just knocked off the basic Topps Nolan Ryan set today. Several were raw submits, but a lot of these were purchased already graded

Here are the scans of it:

1968 - 1971

1972 - 1975

1976 - 1979

1980 - 1983

1984 - 1987

1988 - 1991

1992 - 1994

Also earlier this year I finished the Basic Michael Jordan Fleer set. Most of these were raw submits. I did buy the rookie card already graded, but I had self sub 10s on the 88, 89, and a couple of others. I also will resub the 87, I think it should be in an 8 holder. I do not believe I have ever posted the completed set here until now.

1986 - 1989

1990 - 1993

1995 - 1997

1998 and 2002

I would like to upgrade a few of the Jordans and Ryans, but I am happy to have them both complete. It is awful tempting to sell some of the Jordans at the moment, but I think I am going to hold on to them for now.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.

Thanks everyone. I was very lucky on the Jordan's. Hitting several 10s in subs, and getting the RC before its latest bumps. It looks like where prices are I am going to probably sell all but the RC to fund a 1 card purchase

Well with the recent Fleer Jordan mania. I ended up selling all my basic Jordan set besides my rc, which I plan on keeping. I did with the sole purpose of buying this card. Got it in today.

Beautiful Jordan set, I don't blame you at all for selling. I would have too. 91 Fleer going for 1K, yea time to sell. I love your Bradshaw set.

Congratulations on the Bradshaw set Mike.

    I'm a big fan.

Ya know? I've never seen a 78T Bradshaw that didn't have the "mole" on the upper left border.

    The Brady's a beauty!

Do you remember the post where someone "laser" cut just a micro off the bottom and got a nice bump?

I would not doubt it those cards are made big. Most are 10s if the card is not graded tougher because it is Brady, it really is not condition sensitive at all.
