a thought re: ebay's policy of $2499 being the limit unless the note is graded

i love that policy... it shows me who is basically going to screw you blind for non graded crap... list your note for $2499 and now I know its overpriced garbage!

    Max - agreed. In fact, I would argue that for most accurately describer/graded notes over $500 a seller would be better off paying PCGS the fee.

    Maybe it is useful when someone is trying to sell a high grade type note, but it limits what rare nationals you can offer. There is never a good reason to have a national graded unless it is uncirculated. As it is, now you can't list nationals if they are worth more than $2500 unless some grading service gives a nod, and most of those graders don't know anything about nationals in the first place.
