I love Fugios...since I first learned about them ten years ago.



I recently started the Registry Set "Fugio Cents with Major Varieties" just to see how far I could get. The number of coins required to complete the set is only 19, but it includes some rare varieties: the AMERICAN CONGRESS reverse, the FUCIO misspelling, and variants on the placement of the words UNITED and STATES on the reverse. It even includes the gold New Haven Restrikes, of which only two are known.



I have no chance of completing the set, but I'll have fun trying!

you have two really nice looking coins in that set so far. Will be a challenge to put together the remainder with that standard!

I have a Fu Fugios, love the design and the clashes, incomplete strikes and various minting anomalies that make them, well, lovable. and the connection to Franklin. Good luck on the set, MLC, I'm sure the examples you acquire will be outstanding!
