Any Connecticut obsolete collectors recognize this spurious design?

I purchased the spurious note below from the Newman collection a few weeks ago and noticed that the central vignette is the State Seal of Connecticut with its motto “Qui Transtulit Sustinet” (“He Who Transplanted Still Sustains”).
Has anyone seen this design on any Connecticut obsoletes? Is there a genuine issue out there that this as meant to emulate? Or was it common for spurious notes in the state? Anyone spotted it used elsewhere?
Bank of Commerce $5: January 1, 1852. RI-275 N15
Also seen on this one:
State Bank of Providence $5: January 1, 1851. RI-390-S10
Both notes were listed as SENC in Haxby.
An example of the CT seal here.
