Recent sale of Pete Rose RC PSA-8.5...

Last night... I was perusing recent sales of HOF RCs and happened to notice the recent sale in the PWCC of the Rose RC PSA-8.5 @ $41701. Then...I noticed another recent sale back in February of this year @$11100. When I checked serial numbers...I was surprised to see it was the same card...serial #20200013. I had to check the numbers twice...as if I had hit the Powerball jackpot. Unbelievable appreciation on these cards...$30000 profit for someone in just 3 months!

I just read about a new show coming out on cable. Its called "Flipping Cards" It follows two brothers from New Jersey who buy PSA graded HOF rookie cards, remove the scratches from the flips, windex the holders up nice and shiny, then resell the Cards in a few months for 200 % and sometimes 400% profit. The brothers were previously into trading tech stocks, then when techs crashed, got into flipping houses, but when the housing market tanked, they moved into HOF rookie cards and have never looked back. Should be a great show.

So their profit is the difference in price minus the Windex cost. They better have receipts to write off that expense, boy.
